during hari raya, this is the basic conversation u have with the old people
at most houses u visit to. Its fun if u play along with them :)

Elder: eh eh!! nurul! how much u had grown!

Me: *smile big big* (what else can i say??!)

Elder: so got boyfriend already?(here is where it commenced)

me: sheepishly yeah..can say so...

Elder: REALLY??!!! when? who? how long had it been?

me: well...his name is Kim..

Elder: what kinda name is that??! (they always interrupt this part!)

me: he's a korean then he went to korea this month so we cant meet for a while.
we dated for about a year...

Elder: REALLY ???!!!!!
(this is the best part! especially when u get to see the surprised and disbelieving expression)

me: no la. i bluff u only. (cheat their feeling!)

after they du lan ready, they strike another conversation with u

Elder: so are u working or schooling?
(THIS IS A TRICK QN!!!!)

this is a qn to decide whether or not they wana give u green packet or not.
if u answer u are working, they wont give.
if u say u are schooling, they will give u.

depends on how thick skin u are, i'd go with the 2nd...hehe
